Just a little back ground on my programme – Oak Tree Mindfulness
This is a wonderful program aimed at helping people utilise skills they already have, and allowing them to change their outlook on an everyday situation.
It’s also a great skill to have, to help with anxiety,stress and many other medical issues.
The oak tree mindfulness is primarily aimed at children of all ages. Children experience a lot more stress now than ever before, whether that stress is due to starting nursery, sat exams, social peer pressure or everyday strains.
They have so much to deal with and when I think back to when I was a child I don’t remember having all this to pressure.
I am a mom, an aunt, a school buddy. I have worked with children of all ages and have had to adapt to many situations, this is why, more than ever I want to help.
My programme helps children to apply mindfulness in each situation. It’s about finding a coping mechanism for them, which will in turn help them change the way they think and utilise these skills to help in situations beyond their control. They won’t be able to change a situation, more so cope with a situation.
We are slowly becoming are 24/7 world. Family life balance is becoming a lot harder to manage due to the restrictions parents have, children are aware earlier to the every stress.
